I focus on the effects of repetition and distortion of figurative subject matter in painting. Repetition is a way of expressing/handling anxiety and obsessiveness, as well as an exercise in dealing with inescapable passage of time. This work has been read as the body moving through time, space and psychological states. It presents a “crowd” of self-similar images.
